These are the arrows I'm currently shooting and I have to say they are quite impressive. An errant arrow went right into a log and afterward through a pallet and does not have a noticeable scratch on it. I had to literally chop the arrow out with a hatchet and it penetrated about 4 inches. Even if you're not a hunter these arrows are impressive. I especially like the blazer vanes for when I'm shooting longer distances.
I just got this site and put in on my hunting bow and I have to say, this thing has everything I could ask for in a bow site. I generally hunt in a tree stand so I don't take long shots. However, next year I'll be out west hunting elk and may be shooting further. This site with the adjustable bottom pin is ideal! The small diameter pins and retina lock are game changers as well.
I just received this quiver in the mail as I felt the need to splurge on a better quality quiver. Sure you can spend a fraction of the price on a different quiver but this quiver truly is a quality product. The features they advertise are legitimate and it's very easy to install and customize to your setup. This thing is light, sturdy and so slim you hardly notice it on your bow. And of course it detaches and reattaches fast and simple.
If you've been wanting to get a better rest and wondering about drop-away rests, wonder no longer! This really is the ultra-rest. This is the rest I have on my Mathews bow and it is sweet. The full capture functionality is a must-have for hunting and yet it's quiet and easy to use. It can be a little tricky to get it set-up but lucky for me the tech at the shop took care of that part for me.
So maybe you've thought about getting into archery or bow hunting or you'd like to get one of your kids into the sport. This is a great-value package from the company that basically started it all, Bear Archery. For this price you get a bow that is completely ready to shoot which is perfect for someone starting out or budget minded. The 80% let-off is great and the speed at 310 fps is no slouch.
As a man you've got to be prepared and that means having the right tools for the job. It's not different with archery and when you talk tools for archery, the number one thing you need is a good allen wrench set. Most, if not all, accessories on a bow require an allen wrench for installment or adjustment. This is a quality wrench that you'll find at most archery shops and sporting goods stores. Also it's the allen wrench that I've always got in my bow case.
